From 15 – 26 June 2026, lecturers from the Institute of Criminal Service – Sub-Inspector Maciej Sosek and Chief Inspector Łukasz Rudzki – together with students of Police Science: Sergeant Anna Salomon, Sergeant Paweł Paszek, Sergeant Paweł Ryba, Constable Amelia Biernat, Constable Natalia Kajdana, and Constable Jakub Soliwodzki, took part in the international training course ”Multinational Peacebuilding Efforts in a Changing Operational Environment – Summer Campus 2026”, organized by the Military Academy in Skopje. The activities took place at the “Krivolak” military training ground in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The aim of the training was to prepare participants for operations within the framework of modern peacekeeping and stabilization missions conducted in a changing security environment. The programme combined theoretical classes with intensive practical training in an international setting.
During the training participants expanded their knowledge of peacekeeping and post-conflict operations, procedures for planning and conducting stabilization activities, and civil-military cooperation. They also honed their tactical skills and learned the principles of responding to contemporary threats, including humanitarian operations, dealing with the effects of natural disasters, and cyberspace threats.
This year’s edition of the Summer Campus was attended by 125 representatives of services and academies from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kosovo, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Poland.
One of the points of the training was a study and cultural visit in Ohrid, offering the chance to learn about the history and cultural heritage of Republic of North Macedonia.
The undertaking concluded with a practical demonstration at the training ground, during which participants carried out tasks characteristic of peacekeeping and stabilization operations, including convoy escort, setting up a checkpoint, VIP protection, search procedures, and providing qualified medical assistance.
On the final day, participants took part in the “MILCON’26 International Scientific Conference” in Skopje, devoted to current challenges in international security and defence cooperation. Participation in the event enabled the development of professional competencies, the gaining of practical experience, and the establishment of international contacts with representatives of services from various countries.
